So i came back from Dublin on Friday and couldn't resist a few Duty Free purchases! I went to over to see my family and it was well VERY hectic! It was all planned out what we were going to be doing each day before we even landed! I now need another holiday just to RELAX! It was lovely to see everyone especially as some of my cousins have had babies since i've last seen them so it was lovely to meet them and it gave me plenty of time to get all broody!
I didn't really buy much over there as i had hardly any time to hit the shops which i was slightly disappointing but with the exchange rate like it as it at the moment it wasn't worth buying things i could get back in the UK.
I popped into Forever 21 over there as the closest one to me in the UK is in London. I wish they had more around the UK as i'm in LOVE with all the stuff they have in store! I didn't spend to much, i got a few new tops and a few nice pieces of jewellery, i think in total it came to €70 which wasn't bad at all for all i got. I was very suitcase conscience as i had definitely over packed for the 5 days coming over so i thought it was going to be a bit of a struggle to fit it all in my case coming home. I will do a post in a few days with all the stuff i picked up from Forvever 21.
I held off mainly for the Duty Free before i got on the plane home. Flying over from Southampton Airport the Duty Free is pretty rubbish there is just one main store that stocks everything, a W H Smiths and a Costa but coming home through Dublin Airport you really are in shopping heaven! I made sure that we left early enough so it gave me plenty of time to have a look around all of the shops! In fact we left so early that the check in desk wasn't even open by the time we arrived ( I didn't think that through when i was rushing my mum & sister to the airport!)
Anyway i picked up a few things when i was in a buying frenzy! When we got through security i was met nicely by a Mac store! That was my first stop and i feel i was very restricting in what i purchased! I finally feel happy with my everyday make up so i'm trying not to splurge on to much more though it hasn't really worked...yet! I purchased another NUDE mac lipstick ( my younger sister says i have a nice nude collection and should adventure outside the nude box! ) I also picked up my first ever Mac eye shadow, i wasn't going to pick one up as i have just brought a Naked Pallette 2 but i could't leave the mac counter with just ONE lipstick!
After a nice visit to Mac i went through and had a look at all the other make up counters and my mum kindly treated me to the Estee Lauder Double Wear Light as i was just coming to the end of my tester and i have to admit i'm SO in love with it! It gives me great coverage but feels really light on skin SO much lighter than my Clinique foundation!
I'll post in a few days with my Forever 21 purchases when i have more time, even since i've got back on Friday i've been working but also worn out with a nasty cold and chesty cough!
