Where do i start?! I start with saying sorry i haven't been blogging recently i've been pretty busy with sorting out this and that just general life things!

I've been searching high and low for a new job but well like everyone else in the country looking for jobs there just aren't any out there so i think i'm going to have to stay put even though i'm not very happy there! It's just not what i want to do anymore!

Anyway i've signed up to start a 2 year BTEC in Beauty Therapies starting in September and i have to admit i'm so excited to start! I finally think i've found something i'm interested and passionate about! I've just finished a three day summer school at the college that i've been studying at and i really enjoyed it!

Anyway just a quick post hopefully i'll be posting more often just depends on work but in September i hope to be posting more on everything i'm learning and sharing a few tips!

For the moment i need to find a work placement ready for September!

Product Review: Revlon Colorstay Nail Enamel

I was in Boots just having a look around and came across these nail polishes by Revlon. I actually don't own any nail polishes by Revlon so i thought it would be worth a try as i've turned into a bit of an Essie girl!

So what makes these polishes different? Well they promise a gel like shine and are suppose to be long wearing. I looked at the 30 different shades painted on fake nails in Boots and found it hard to pick just one but i thought i'd purchase one incase i didn't like them. I decided on Passionate Pink after taking 10 minutes to decide! I also picked up a bottle of their topcoat which was along side the nail polish that promised the extra shine. I thought i'd try the both together to give maximum shine!

Last night i decided to give it a try, my nails tent to chip after a few days just down to everyday wear and tear so if this polish does what it promises it will be perfect for holidays!

I put on my normal Nails Inc base coat and once dried applied the nail polish, the brush was nice and easy to apply to my nails and the colour is a beautiful shade of pink! I applied two coats and followed it by the Revlon Colorstay Nail Enamel top coat.

The topcoat takes a long time to dry but i don't know if this is because i'm use to my quick drying Nails Inc topcoat that dries in 30 seconds!

Overall i wasn't to impressed with the nail polish. I love the colour as i always reach for nude shades so it's strange to look at my nails and see pink! It gives a shiny finish but i could have got that from any of my Essie nail polishes. I wouldn't say it was a gel finish as promised which is slightly disappointing. I'm just waiting to see how i can go without it chipping, today is day one!

I'll keep you up to date on how long it lasts on my nails without chipping! Has anyone else tried these new nails polishes? What did you think?

I FINALLY got my hands on ESSIE!

The title says it all! I finally got my hands nails on Essie! I've been looking in my local Boots & Superdrug stores for a little while now ever since i heard Essie was coming to certain stores. I have to admit my local Boots & Superdrug stores aren't massive so i wasn't holding any hope! Never the less i finally got my hands on the nail polishes!! I was visiting my grandparents & uncle in Oxford over the weekend and popped into their Boots store in the town centre and i have to admit it's BEAUTIFUL! There are SO many different beauty counters i didn't actually know where to start!

Anyway whilst looking around i came across the Essie stand and i was in my absolute element! I was SO happy! There were SO many colours to pick from! I decided to pick up three different bottles which i had read reviews about from other bloggers but also thought i'd wear the most! (I could have picked up more but i resisted the urge!)

I picked up Sand Tropaz, Mint Candy Apple and Not Just A Pretty Face which are all LOVELY colours! Sand Tropaz is a lovely "sandy beige" as described on the website and i couldn't think of a better way to describe it! I have a feeling that this is going to be a nail polish that i will go for a lot! I then picked up Mint Candy Apple which i heard so much about from other bloggers it's the perfect mint colour, i have a few mint colours but the shade of this is lovely! Finally Not Just A Pretty Face which is a lovely pinkish nude! I can't say much more about the way it applies on your nails as i'm yet to use it but all i can say is that the colours are BEAUTIFUL!

I'm waiting till tonight to decide which colour to paint my nails (though i think i'll be picking Sand Tropaz!) as i'm back to work tomorrow after a quick 2 weeks off! (It wasn't a holiday though, I was getting my wisdom teeth out!)

Have you tried any Essie nail colours? Which one's are your faves?!

Welcome our latest members to our family! These are our two new baby Guinea Pigs. We picked them up yesterday from our local pet store and the women said they are just 8 weeks old! We were just going to pick up a cage and set it up and go today and pick them but as soon as we saw them we all fell in love with them especially the fluffy! My younger sister picked one and me and my other sister picked the other.  The black & brown one is my little sisters and she called him Buster and the Blonde fluffy one is yet to be named. We are all struggling with a name for him because he is so sweet and well me and my sister are so indecisive!

Meet Buster...
I love his little blonde curtains!

WAH! Nail Art Book

Firstly SORRY for not posting in a while, i've been SO busy with mainly work & trying to sort out a course to start in the next few weeks. I've decided that i want to do a NVQ in Beauty Therapy. I'm hoping to start it in a few weeks, i'm going to have a look around on the 1st of May. I'm so excited to start but the only draw back is that the place i want to go to study is out of my town so i'm going to have to drive about 30-40 minutes a day just to get there which i don't mind but i can't help thinking how much it's going to cost with the price of petrol these days!

Anyway back on track with this post, i was kindly brought this book by my Boyfriend the other week. As soon as i heard about it, i mentioned it to him that i was going to pre-ordered it but he said not to and kindly got it for me as a present. I have to admit i didn't think it would be as good as it actually is! I'm a massive nail art fan so my expectations were high and the book certainly met my expectations!

There are plenty of different ''projects" to try and the book explains it really well with step by step pictures & explanations! I've tried one of the ''projects'' which included gold nail studs. Unfortunately i didn't take a picture, i'm not sure why i didn't but i'm sure i will do it again soon and i'll update this post with a picture to show you. I didn't have any nail studs so i had a order some and found some on Ebay which were really cheap and came in the post the same week! I was really impressed with the outcome of my nails and the gold studs on one finger really added detail to my nails. Now all i've got to do is take a trip to London to get my nails done in WAH!

Has anyone else brought this book? What "projects" have you tried & did you find it easy to get the look?

Nail Polish Storage.

I'm Becki and i'm addicted to nail polish! Last weekend i decided enough was enough with all my nail polishes! They were unorganised in a massive soap and glory vanity box just thrown in and a complete mess! It was always the case of having a good dig around to find the nail polish i wanted to use and it was always the last one i'd pull out! I'm a MASSIVE lover of nail polish and when i was having a sort out i just couldn't bring myself to throw any away so i had a little count i have around 120 different bottles of polish! RIDICULOUS i know! When i was having a sort out with my sister all my dad was saying was think of what you could have used all that money on! It's coming to the point where i go into Boots and i want to get a new polish but i'm like i have that colour or i have one similar to that colour! How bad! I don't think there is a colour that i don't have! Not in mention the endless packets of nail wraps i have!

So i decided to have a little look on good old Ebay to see if they had any larger vanity boxes and came across this buyer  i had a look at all of the cases and decided to go for Pink #3 which was £22.88 with free postage so i paid for it and it came within the next few days!

That night me and my sister done a bit of organising and now i'm a proud owner of a perfectly organised nail polish case! I must say i'm very proud! It's the small things in life that please!

What are you giving up for LENT?

So today is the first day of LENT. I have to admit i never really give anything up for Lent i always say every year that i'll give something up and give it up for a week MAXI'm sure this year will be different, i mean how hard can it be to give something up for forty days?!

This year i've set myself the challenge to not buy make up for FORTY DAYS! I have to admit i'm a make up ADDICT! I can buy up to three new make up items a week! Especially if take a visit Boots and see there is a new product and it has like £3 i'm a sucker for those promotions!

So i can officially buy make up again on Thursday 5 April 2012 to me it sounds like LONGER than FORTY day! Lets hope i don't cave in!

What are you giving up for LENT?

Duty Free...

So i came back from Dublin on Friday and couldn't resist a few Duty Free purchases! I went to over to see my family and it was well VERY hectic! It was all planned out what we were going to be doing each day before we even landed! I now need another holiday just to RELAX! It was lovely to see everyone especially as some of my cousins have had babies since i've last seen them so it was lovely to meet them and it gave me plenty of time to get all broody!

I didn't really buy much over there as i had hardly any time to hit the shops which i was slightly disappointing but with the exchange rate like it as it at the moment it wasn't worth buying things i could get back in the UK.

I popped into Forever 21 over there as the closest one to me in the UK is in London. I wish they had more around the UK as i'm in LOVE with all the stuff they have in store! I didn't spend to much, i got a few new tops and a few nice pieces of jewellery, i think in total it came to €70 which wasn't bad at all for all i got. I was very suitcase conscience as i had definitely over packed for the 5 days coming over so i thought it was going to be a bit of a struggle to fit it all in my case coming home.  I will do a post in a few days with all the stuff i picked up from Forvever 21.

I held off mainly for the Duty Free before i got on the plane home. Flying over from Southampton Airport the Duty Free is pretty rubbish there is just one main store that stocks everything, a W H Smiths and a Costa but coming home through Dublin Airport you really are in shopping heaven! I made sure that we left early enough so it gave me plenty of time to have a look around all of the shops! In fact we left so early that the check in desk wasn't even open by the time we arrived ( I didn't think that through when i was rushing my mum & sister to the airport!)

Anyway i picked up a few things when i was in a buying frenzy! When we got through security i was met nicely by a Mac store! That was my first stop and i feel i was very restricting in what i purchased! I finally feel happy with my everyday make up so i'm trying not to splurge on to much more though it hasn't really worked...yet! I purchased another NUDE mac lipstick ( my younger sister says i have a nice nude collection and should adventure outside the nude box! ) I also picked up my first ever Mac eye shadow, i wasn't going to pick one up as i have just brought a Naked Pallette 2 but i could't leave the mac counter with just ONE lipstick!

After a nice visit to Mac i went through and had a look at all the other make up counters and my mum kindly treated me to the Estee Lauder Double Wear Light as i was just coming to the end of my tester and i have to admit i'm SO in love with it! It gives me great coverage but feels really light on skin SO much lighter than my Clinique foundation!

I'll post in a few days with my Forever 21 purchases when i have more time, even since i've got back on Friday i've been working but also worn out with a nasty cold and chesty cough!

HOLIDAY...

Just a quick post to let you all know i'm off to DUBLIN tomorrow until Friday so i don't think i'll be able to post. I'm staying with my nan and i'm pretty sure she doesn't have wifi as she doesn't have a computer. I'm just hoping that i can use one of my uncle or auntys wifi and at least log on to Twitter and check out all the blogs i subscribe too! This is the first time i've gone on holiday and am actually not looking forward to having internet. HOW SAD?! I'm always on the internet at home reading blogs or watching Youtube videos in the evening in bed so it's going to be strange just actually going straight to sleep! When i get back i'll do a little post with a few pictures and maybe a little Vlog!

Have a LOVELY week and i will post when i get back!

Heart Cupcake

I just couldn't resist doing a little post about these CUTE heart cupcake they have in Gregs at the moment! They are adorable! I'm not sure on the price as my boyfriend got me one as a little treat to get me through work this afternoon/this evening but i'm guessing they are around 80p. I think they have brought them out specially for Valentines Day next week as i've never seen them in Gregs before but they are so sweet! I've just eaten mine and it was so YUMMY and it came with the cutest little plastic heart glitter ring!

FREE Soap & Glory Thick & Fast Mascara!

I was in Morrisons supermarket the other day and was having a look at the magazines and came across this month's Elle magazine. I'm going to admit now that i'm not a monthly reader of Elle, i'll read it if it's brought in my house but i don't go and buy it. I normally read Glamour, Grazia and Company.

I brought this month's Elle magazine as it came with a really good freebie! It came with a free full size Soap & Glory mascara which is apparently worth £10 from Boots stores. I'm yet to try any of the cosmetics from Soap & Glory but i'm a big lover of their body care range but my ultimate favourite from their range is their body butter, it's SUPER moisturising but also smells LOVELY! Every time i go to Boots i always look at their Soap & Glory costemtic range but never know what to try so this month's Elle was perfect as it offers me the chance to try their mascara but also i get to read the magazine.

The mascara is a full size and comes in the colour black. The brush is a proper brush not a plastic brush so i find it a lot easier to work with, i just don't get on with plastic mascara brushes! I've tried it a few times since i purchased the magazine and i have to admit i'm not completly impressed with it. I don't know if i'm set in my own ways but i definatly prefer my No.7 Exqusive curl mascara as i feel that it really grabs my lashes and gives them a lovely curl. After trying the mascara i don't think i would go and and buy it which is a bit disappointing as i'm such a big lover of their body brand!

Has anyone else picked up this month's Elle magazine? What did you think of your free Soap & Glory mascara?

£1 Lipstick Bargain!

Well i was in luck today when it came to shopping! I went into Boots like i always do and had a little look in the clearance section at the back of the store, usually when i pop in there is nothing worth buying but today i was in luck!

They had SO much discounted make up! I did restrict myself as i'm flying to Dublin on Monday and my aunty works in a hotel that reguarlly holds conferences for different make up brands and she always get's bags full of stuff and she said that she would make me up a bag full of new make up! I'm dead excited as she always have lovely Estee Lauder make up!

Anyway getting back to my bargains today! I did restrict myself and only brought two make up items even though it was all discounted down to £1. So i picked up a Lipstick by L'Oreal Paris in shade 285 in Pink Fever and it's LOVELY! I tried it on my lips when i got home and it's a lovely pink colour! I have to admit i have never brought a lipstick in pink and now i have this one i'm not sure why i haven't! I'm defiantly a nude colour gal but hopefully this little bargain will draw me away from picking up another nude lipstick... for a while anyway!!

I also picked up a L'Oreal Paris eye shadow in shade 016 Cocoanut Shake which was also £1 and i'm yet to try it, i'm going to try it tomorrow but it's defiantly going to be a great base on my eyes if i want to put other shadow's over it but also it will be great on it's own if i feel like i don't want to wear to much make up!

Let me know if you have picked up any make up bargains lately!

What is in my make up bag...

First of all SORRY i haven't blogged that much lately. I've been so very busy with work! I've been working everyday for the past week and a bit and it's really taken it's toll on me! Today was the first day i've had off since last Monday and i even worked Sunday which shouldn't actually be aloud! It should be a lazy day for everyone! Anyway i'm sorry once again for my lack of posts.

I just thought i'd do a little post on what is in my everyday make up bag. This bag just has all my daily essentials, all my essentials stay the same all year round with staple make up favourites that can't be replaced but on the odd occasion i do a little swap around and reignite my love for previous products that have now been forgotten. I don't want to make this a long post and go into product reviews about everything i have in my daily make up bag or this would be one LONG post! Just to let you know that i DON'T carry this make up bag around with me in my bag all day as it is SO heavy! If i'm going on a long day out or somewhere special i just carry a few items in a little make up bag in my bag if i think i will need to touch up during the day.

So i hope you all enjoy having a little look through my make up bag! If you have any questions or would like me to review any specific products i have in my make up bag then please let me know in the comments and i'd be happy to give you my opinion!

Get to know me better....

Boots 75% sale.

I'm sure most of you are aware of my LOVE towards Boots stores! After christmas they always discount all the christmas gift sets to 50% i always pick up a few after christmas but then a few weeks into January they then discount what they have left down to 75% off. I was there yesterday morning at my local boots store at 9am ready for all the bargains! I feel like i was very reserved compared to some people who had trolleys and massive blue boots bags full of stuff! I've never quiet seen anything like it! People weren't rude but they knew what they wanted and they wanted a bargain! People were pilling things into trolleys and baskets like there was not tomorrow! My best purchase was the St. Tropez sets, i picked up 4 to get me through the summer! They were reduced to £5 each for a full bottle of body tan and a bottle of face tan        (that i'm yet to gut up and try out! I've never tanned my face!) I was so pleased with my little bargains!

Did any of you get any bargains from the sale?

Make Up Storage.

After watching a few make up storage video's i was inspired to sort out my own make up storage or my not so make up storage! I've always had my make stored well chucked in a big vanity bag from Primark that's tucked away on my book shelf. I have a everyday make up with everyday essentials that i reach for and every now and again have a little change around but i have to admit it's not that often and i was noticing that every time i looked in my Primark bag full of different eye shadows and blushes i always say to my sister "oh i forgot about that" and "oh i should use this!" so after searching for some make up storage idea's to get inspired or copy i was ready to find my perfect make up storage!

I happened to be at Sainsbury's over the weekend and there it was right in front of me! A set of 4 white wicker draws stood in front of me! They were also in the sale which definitely made them more appealable! They were £25 down to £12.50. BARGAIN! so i picked them up and couldn't wait to get home and sort out all my make up into different draws! I have to admit i LOVE organising! I was going to get another set of 4 draws for all my nail polishes but my room is SO small especially with a double bed and Arnie (my tortoise) living in my room it can sometimes be a tight squeeze!

I got home and immediately starting organising all my make up! I had recently gone through a i've never use that stage and either giving it to my younger sister or just throwing it so i was happy with all the stuff i had so i knew i didn't have to go through another throw out ( though i think my younger sister would have liked me too!)

I decided to group my make up together, the first draw is going to be lip products which include lipstick, lip gloss and any lip healing products such as Carmex. The second draw is dedicated to eye products this was mascara, eye liner or eye shadows. Draw number three was given to my face! It contains, foundations, powders, blushers and concealer. Finally my last draw i gave it the "fake" factor. It includes a few packs of fake lashes and many bottles of fake tan and also fake tan mits and gloves.  I also have stuck a Glossybox on top of the storage which holds a few moisturisers and my mac fix+ spray.

I'm so pleased with my new make up storage and it goes really well with my white Ikea bet and vintage bedside. I'm hoping that my make up it kind of going to be out on display that it will make me think i'll just try a different blusher today!

Have you got any good storage ideas?! I'd love to hear all about them!

Updated Charity Shop Find!

Well as i'm a little bit of a BARGAIN hunter i regularly go to the charity shops in my local town. There is a fair few in the town centre but i always end up hunting out the one that's about 5 minutes drive from my house! It's such a treasure cove and you never quiet know what you will find!

I picked up this Topshop dress for £2.50 with tags on and all! I obviously got home and took the tags off and put it through the wash as you never quiet know who had it before you but for £2.50 i couldn't resist! I think it's going to be perfect for the summer on holiday, hopefully i'll be going on one this year or the weather in the UK may actually be nice! (I'm not going to hold my breath though!)

Have you got any good bargains from charity shops?

Naked Palette 2

WELL where do i start?! I jumped onto the Naked Palette band wagon and treated myself to the new Naked Palette 2.
I had heard about it a few months ago after reading about it on a few blog reviews and had my heart set on purchasing it as soon as Debenhams website had released it. I then heard on Twitter on Friday night that if you liked the Debenhams Beauty Club Facebook Page you were given an exclusive link to purchase the palette midnight on Friday! I didn't stay up to midnight to purchase mine as i was going up to London early Saturday morning but when i got home from London i followed the link from their Facebook page and hoped they would still have some in stock! I was in LUCK they did and i put one straight in my shopping basket! I was automatically given free postage which was estimated with a 4-5 day delivery time! For the last few days i was anxiously waiting by the door for the postman to deliver my package! He did today and i was SO excited! I can't actually wait to try it tomorrow!

From just having a little look at it this afternoon i'm very impressed with ALL 12 shades! They all look very wearable for a daytime look and an evening look. The only shade i'm slightly put off by it blackout. I've never used a black eye shadow and i've never had the real urge to use one either but i'm sure i'll try it out one time! I never know i might like it for a change! I just need find a look that i can use black eye shadow with!

I've listed all the shades below and there's also a few pictures for you to lust over! If you fancy one of these palettes follow this link  to purchase yourself one of these beauties! If not your have to wait till they hit Urban Decay counters near you next month!

Friends? I don't have any...

I was reading this weeks edition of Grazia on the train this weekend on my way up to London and I came across this article " Friends? I don't have any..." it was like reading all about myself! I decided to do a little post about it as I'm clearly not the only one like it. It said in the article that there is a growing number of women who say they don't have any close female friends even Angelina Jolie admitted it recently!

So where do I start?! Well everyone needs friends right? Well if I would have read this statement about half a year ago I would have strongly disagreed as i was doing just fine without any girly friends but over the past few months i'm agreeing with it more.

So let me fill you in on my girly friend situation... Or should I say my girly friendless situation. It all started when I hit secondary school, i enjoyed my junior school SO much I was friends with everyone and had a best friend called Kerry. We were inseparable in class and on the playground but it all changed when junior school was over there was a secondary school that most of my friends went to but it wasn't a good school and my loving parents wanted the best for me and sent me to secondary school on my own. How nice of them?! Well nearly all on my own the only person I knew was one boy called Owen and I didn't know him all that well. That's where it all changed.

I can remember my first day so clearly everyone was in the hall and everyone knew everyone from their junior school. I hated it! If anyone asked me to describe my first day at my new catholic secondary school i'd say it was well difficult. I made friends with a girl in my tutor called Emily and was soon part of a small girl group of friends which was lovely but soon the girl group got bigger which meant it got bitcher and the more I didn't want to be apart of it. So i decided to separate myself from it and hang out with the guys. I always got on better with guys, more easier to chat to, you can have a laugh and there is nothing bitchy going on! I got through secondary school ok after becoming best friends with my now boyfriend Iain. We were inseparable we hung out at school and when we weren't at school he was around my house, he even use to come and visit my mum in hospital when she was really ill. Until it changed one day. I was starting to fall in love with him, he was all I would think about, talk about and dream at night about. Until one day it changed we had a massive argument and well id rather forget the rest. I got through the end of the school best friendless, i had friends but no one close to me and hardly any girly friends.

I then went to college, all the girls in the girl group all went to separate colleges and done their own thing. I attended the local college in town along with a few people from school including Iain but I still wasn't talking to him. College was lonely. I had made one really good friend in the first year, Kerry- Ann but when the year was over she decided to move to a college closer to her as she was from a different town and there i was with no friends at all. My second year at college was one I'd rather forget. All my spare free lessons, 20 minute morning breaks and lunches were spend on my own in the library doing work or just on the computers pretending to look "cool" I'd sit checking my phone every few minutes or just text my mum to keep myself company. If the library was partially busy I'd go to the toilets in the art block they were single toilets there and sit there for 15 minutes or so and do my make up. Anything not to walk around the college friendless. I was really unhappy. I'd have to walk to town and get the bus home on my own everyday when there were so many people walking to town laughing and having a good time with their  friends. I hated it. I started talking to my old best friend, Iain. We started texting more and spending more time together which was lovely though there were many times I had to lie when he'd see me on own during lunch or ask where I would hang out, I couldn't say the toilet or the library!

Anyway we finally got together and became boyfriend and girlfriend and i told him about my friend situation and he took me in and I made friends with his friends but I always felt like a bit of a tag along. Thankfully that year ended and I decided to take a gap year which turned out to be another year of me not knowing what I want to study which then turned in to panic attacks and a fear of leaving the house. I'm now over that and have a job and am hoping to start beauty school in September.

I would now consider myself to have 3 best friends. My sister Steph (18 years old) my younger sister Lucy ( 9 years old) and my boyfriend Iain he's (20 years old). I know it's pretty sad I don't have any proper girly friends like people my age. It never use to bother me but it's starting to more and more everyday. I obviously dont have a girly best friend that isn't a family member or my boyfriend. I know it's not a massive problem but I should have one best friend who I can share all with. Surely?! I spend all my spare time with my sister when she's not out with her friends or her boyfriend but now she's at university it's really hit me hard. She lives about 60 miles away during the week but thankfully she comes home during the weekend and that's when I do all my girly shopping!! My boyfriend, Iain also goes to university and he says there most of the week so I dont get to see him much during the week either and as for my little sister as much as I love her there is a bit age gap between us so i can't really talk to her about girly things and she's at school during the day.

I have a job where I work in a all girl environment apart from one boy which is nice. I'd consider my colleagues to be my friends but not my best friends as theres things you can't share with the people you work with! I've decided this year to make some more girly friends, it's going to be hard because i don't really know how to make friends as silly as that sounds and i'm a constant worrier! I'll be talking to someone but my mind is drifting onto other things like what do they think of me! I wouldn't consider myself as lonely now as i have my family around me but a few years down the line when i move out and don't have my sisters around me i could potentially be lonely and i don't want that at all so i need to make girly friends soon!

I don't want people to feel sorry for me because they are choices i have made not to hang out with the bitchy girly group at school and not to put myself out there in college. All these choices could have left me with a circle of friends to go out with and just to do in the evening instead of coming home from work and getting straight into my pi's and curling up in bed by 9 watching youtube video but their the choices i have made and at the time they seemed the right choice. You shouldn't regret anything that seemed right at the time!

New Year's Resolutions 2012.

So i'm not the best at keeping New Year's Resolutions but this year might be different! So here's to trying! My main aim this year is to become more healthier. I'm not the healthiest person, i don't exercise, i don't drink a lot of water, i don't eat vegetables and i don't eat fruit! So my new year's resolutions are mainly health based with a few extras thrown in!

1. Drink more water

2. Exercise every day or every second day for 20 minutes

3. I know i'm never going to like vegetables or fruit but to try and bit more of a balanced diet.
4. Drink a glass of smoothie EVERY day

5. To stop buying clothes as much only when i REALLY need them! I need to try and wear everything i have already more often!

6. To try and give my nails a break from nail polish- i have to have polish on my nails EVERY day and it's just so drying!

7.  To try and have at least one day a week make up free to give my skin a break!

8. To go on holiday this year! I never got to go away last year as my mum was poorly so this year i need to get some summer sun!

So here's what i'm going to try and stick to this year! If i manage to do it for more than a few weeks i'm going to be over the moon! I'm useless at sticking to all that healthy stuff!  If i think of some more i'll add them onto my list! I know it's the 8th of January today but so far i've managed to stick to them all....JUST!

Please leave a comment below with some of you new resolutions for 2012. I'd LOVE to hear all about
them!

HAPPY NEW YEAR TO YOU ALL!

I hope all had a lovely time last night and brought the new year in well! I just went to my boyfriend's house for the night and we had a lovely evening with his family and friends. We had lots of party food, lots of drink and a good old sing on Singstar! Obviously team girls won!

I'm still thinking of a proper New Year's resolution the only one i can think of is just to get fit. I'm not the healthiest of eaters and my diet DOESN'T include fruit or vegs, it never has and it never will! I'm happy with my body and how i look but i just worry about how unhealthy my insides must be! I don't participate in any exercise and drive EVERYWHRE! So i brought a new fitness DVD to bring in the new year. I saw it advertised in a magazine a few weeks ago it's by Tracy Anderson who is Gwyneth Paltrow's personal trainer. I'm yet to try out the DVD i'm going to start it tomorrow morning so i'll let you know how it goes but i'm pretty excited about it!

I hope you all have a WONDERFUL new year and a great 2012!
