'Tis the season to be Jolly!

Christmas is finally coming!  As yesterday was the 1st of December the christmas tree went up and it was time to decorate my bedroom which i always really enjoy! In the morning we went and brought a real tree down the road from my house, this year we opted for a real christmas tree as we have had an extension downstairs so the conservatory was the perfect place to display a huge tree! We opted for a 7ft tree which we could cover with decorations and just about fitted in the car!

Yesterday evening we got down all the decoration boxes from the loft and i started decorating with a glass of mulled wine in my hand i was feeling very festive! I started off decorating my room, last year i had brought a little real tree for my room and once christmas was over i brought it into the garden where it actually lasted the year so that was brought back in and placed on my shelve ready for this year! I was very surprised it lasted the whole year especially during the hotter weather we had which now feels a lifetime ago! I brought some Christmas bedding the other week from Primark as i was concerned that it would sell out and i will be honest, it has been on my bed for the last few weeks. I covered my room in candles and put a cute wooden star hanging from my curtain pole and that was my room sorted!

I then went downstairs where i was joined by my two sisters, we covered the tree in lights and baubles and that was that, complete! Once we had finished we assembled a cardboard light up star which took pride of place hanging in the middle of the conservatory!

Overall i had a lovely evening and enjoyed spending quality time with my family! I've inserted a few pictures below for you all to have a look at. ( I thought i'd include a few pictures as i enjoy looking at pictures of people's decorated trees... i know slightly strange!)
